I made this from a bowl of fiber soup I threw together: a mix of superfine merino (that I washed and dyed myself!), natural soy silk, beads, a tiny bit of commercial thread, and a few little odds and ends.

It ended up at 47ish yards, purposefully thick ‘n thin with a lot of really fun texture and glitz.

I handspun this on a drop spindle from a bowl of fiber soup I threw together: a mix of superfine merino (that I washed and dyed myself!), gunmetal angelina, white tencel, silk noil, beads on threadlets of commercial yarn and commercial thread, and felted matted black superwash merino.

It ended up at 47ish yards and approximately 8 wpi.

Merino/silk blend, navajo 3-ply, curly locks twisted in when plying. Crocheted in a fairly freeform manner into a goofy yarmulke for my brother, who knows better than to wear it out in public.
